Another blank that made up my 20K post prize, though this time there was no name on it but it looks like Cocobolo to me, perhaps Jim will confirm that.

Anyway it`s a chrome & trivalent chrome Sierra & is finished with CA.

Hi, Doug,
Yes, do like this one (I, too, like Sierras) and that wood shows it off well. Nice work! And, yes, it does look like cocobolo, but without seeing it, could it be mahogany? Let's hope that Jim can supply the answer. Well done, Doug.
Bob.

Doug you certainly have cracked that photography, this picture shows the quality of the pen very well .. Regarding the wood, was it one of the larger blanks? If so then i sent you African Pau Rosa and African Panga Panga, this pen looks like it is the Panga Panga ...

Now you've confused me, Panga Panga is black and Pau Rosa is normally a two tone pink cream, If its orange and dense could be Nicaraguan Cocobolo? But then trees never read the dulux chart anyway!

I can see it now, well you have been listening and taking notice.
Is that how you want your pictures to look?
I can see nuffink wrong Wiv pen or pic well done sir.

A bit more gimp, next lesson composition and preference only but a little lighter and right to left instead of left to right.
I now take your masterpiece picture and ruin it LOL.

The only Panga Panga I have seen is a wood that could be confused with Wenge, the picture on the website wont work on my machine for some reason, but even Turners Cabin describe it as dark brown with black streaks????
Whatever, its a nice pen!!
