News from the workshop with coffee and cream.
This FP in brown-white acrylic has a section made of german black ebonite.
It holds a gold plated #5 Bock medium steel nib and is fitted with a Schmidt converter.
Barrel and cap are tappered with a smooth transition from barrel to cap.
The end of the cap is the point with the biggest diameter and the end of the barrel the smallest diameter.
This pen has two different blind caps.
One to fill up the converter without the need to unscrew the barrel from the section and one to hold the cap if you want to post the cap to the barrel.
Still have to find out where to put the second blind cap if the cap is posted...

Thanks for looking.
Comments and critics are welcome.

best regards

Gerrit

Using a fountain and unscrewing the nib carrier every time to fill, clean and maintain seems a drag when using your method on this beaut pen you can shortcut the proceedure. The more I dwell on fountains I realise ownership brings constant vigilance. The temptation to show and tell needs to be under direction unless the unwary did mortal damage to the instrument. Just observing the cut and thrust people employ just to uncap a pen is horrifying.

Works of art such as your pen demand a premium, it is in another class Gerrit.

Very nice pen indeed.
But I still don't see the advantage of unscrewing a blind cap instead of the whole barrel to fill up the converter. Same gesture, same time. And one doesn't see the ink level. So?
