My old shed is not quite freezing due to the small oil-filled radiator out there. I also use a small fan heater when I'm out there but it is drafty :rolling:

I noticed over the last two or three days that the workshop was colder than usual, and to my horror I found out my heater had given up luckily I have a spare so all is well again and back up to a workable temperature.

I had my new walls and ceiling built on the inside of the garage so now fully insulated. A small oil filled radiator is all that's needed. I should have sorted out the concrete floor at the same time but a pair of cheap furry boots cured that.

I insulated the roof, but the walls are just a single course of brick.

I got a DeLonghi Dragon 4, 2.5kw on the recommendation of Woody and Davey Gee .. got it's own timer, comes on at 8, off at 8 .. if I stay out there later just switch to manual.

Have to turn the bloody thing down sometimes

Mine's toasty thank you. Insulated on 5 sides and heated. Minus 8 here last night outside. Stayed at about plus 8 inside, and a quick boost brings it up to about 16 or 17 which is just right for me whilst working.

I'm sweating like a pig in mine at the moment & that with me wearing just a T-shirt! Think it's to do with me rushing round like a blue arsed fly though:roflmao:

Between 30 to 40 degrees at 9pm still. Cooler day today and tomorrow building up again fast, the hottest temps since the 60,s. Autumn on its way.

Insulated mine when it arrived, never goes below 6C. Small radiator brings it up to about 16C in no time :thumbs:
