I have been clearing out more stuff and came across these blanks I made last year, it's the first one I have turned from them and I am quite pleased with how they have turned out. I back painted this one with black and the tube also black. The next one I will paint using a different colour just to see the contrast from the same blanks.

You can't see it in the photos, but it has a very swirly brass and violet colour that you can see when you move it in the light.

Thank you. I forgot to say what it was, I was trying to post the photos quickly as I had 5 minutes before I needed to start cooking dinner.

Yes, it is transparent polyester resin with a slight violet tint using Duo violet and brass pearl-ex and pine cones.
