Recived an unusual request yesterday for a flawless A Grade piece of Conkerberry 7 by 2 by 1 inch flawless sanded finish from someone in the UK through another forum to which I replied good luck with that. My good mate in Qld I was talking to yesterday tells me his mate who goes out into the bush for it sometimes said the area is in great drought and hotter than not much coming in these days. It takes forever to dry mongrel to cut dodging snakes and covered in thorns all over no wonder besides being rare its not something to look forward to harvesting.

My pen has detail in the sapwood and since a mature shrub of it can be hundreds of years old often colours in the sapwood to the soil type. Made this a couple of days ago.

Kind regards Peter.
