Looks great Paul, I have some of these to do myself but yours looks great.

PhilH, if Paul's are the same they are not predrilled.

Something to write home about mate beaut pen is your wife like mine always carrying her pens in the infamous handbag always a good indicator around here. Not familiar with this blank just asked SWMBO showed her your pic she Wilma says it reminds her of feathers which should please you no end.

Ooooh now that's REALLY nice.

Are these the pre drilled tubes or like a normal blank?

Yes the ones I've got are pre-drilled Phil and just slightly too small to put a tube in and too large for the fittings so I glued the fittings in as they are only just too loose.

Lovely pen Paul, I have some of the same and it's one of the better patterns imo.

Just to clarify though, Vince sells 2 distinctly different types. the one you have isn't the Conway Stewart material he sells which is supplied as solid blanks. The others like yours aren't drilled out from solid, they're actually acetate vintage pen tubes. If you look closely you can see the join lines of the windings. It is beautiful material but you need to be careful with it if you drill it out not to twist back the drill in reverse as it is possible to "unwind" the tube. Don't ask how I know:goesred:. It can be glued back with CA though.

These tubes were used by a number of famous pen makers, probably Conway Stewart as well!
