Nice pens Neil .. I have a love /hate relationship with copper sometimes it looks great and other times it looks cra* (not nice) suppose it depends on what wood your are putting it with.........yours look great.

Been offering up a copper nib to each pen I have turned, since Jim gave me the kits. Very light or very dark wood doesn't seem to work.
The cherry has a bit of burnt Orange colouring, and I think works well.
The unknown stuff, has a pinky / purple tinge to it, which doesn't really show in the pic, but it also seems to be good with the Copper.

I could never get rid of copper kits until I called them rose gold, I very soon had none left init?
Nice pens Neil prefer the cherry myself, I have a soft spot for cherry too.

Your right Brian ...I always call them rose gold colour when anyone shows some interest ..and as some lads have said they do look good on woods like cherry and juniper both of which have sold sporting the rose gold colour label.

Very nicely turned pens Neil, love the Cherry grain .. :thumbs: I tend to try and use the Copper kits on something red, or redish brown .. :thumbs:

Yep, got to agree with everyone else, two lovely pens there Neil. I personally think you have to match up any colour with whatever wood you're using anyway, and you did that with the copper on both pens, we'll done.

A lovely pair of pens Neil. Not many pens suit copper but those do.
