I've been machining some pine up this evening for work tomorrow but the temptation to turn this boxwood blank was just too much, so here it is on a gun metal slimline again finished in Hutt wax.

Good looking pen Doug, Boxwood does look good with the darker looking accents for sure .. :bwink:

Very nice Doug. I know what you mean about the temptation. Whenever I think about taking the CMM shopping, I always go and turn a pen instead.

Paul, Pine is plain the centre band is small but the pen is useful and I can tell you this women love that shape so it already has a niche either in market or gift.

Box is my favourite wood to turn I just love the way it peals of and leaves an almost perfect finish nice one Doug box is good whatever pen it on
