To answer your original question. I haven't used CT1 but have seen it used by my now deceased friend who was glueing parts for his boat. It certainly seemed exceptionally strong, had a short open time (might have been old stuff), but I would say was too thick for segmenting as I suspect the glue lines would be very evident.
