Phil the veneer is 0.024+/- 0.02 or 1/42 thick. I get it here. Exotic Wood Veneer, Vacuum Press Systems, Veneering Tools and Veneering Supplies

There is that too early, no coffee thing again. Should have been +/-0.002.
