Like always you have to consider your log. Over here if it was burl cutting this way would be another ball game cutting wise. Those soft timbers are a breeze . So many of our timbers the electric chainsaw would nearly bounce off.

Thanks for the interesting things the guy had to say and do.

Thanks for posting have bookmarked the video I'm going to collect some cherry wood today do not know how big it is but doubt it will be big enough for this treatment but I might make a jig for sawing logs on my newly acquired bandsaw. Blades from tuffsaw's arrived today.

It is a case of examining the log before you make any cuts I end up with logs that have loads of pen marks to cut them up
