Hi all inkeeping with current trends on here i dug this out....must get round to finishing this off.
The blade came from Workshop heaven a couple of years ago now with cherry side plates

There acid etched to look like damascus...still a good grade of steel though with a nice carbon content:thumbs:

That is gorgeous Mark and from the photo it is difficult to say its not damascus. I love it and love the wood too, its got to be finished...
