I don't know if FP's are getting more popular but I have been asked for a few recently. No need for segmenting as this East Indian Rosewood has done it already.

Great looking pen Alan. From my point of view, fountain pens have always pipped rollerballs in terms of quantities sold.

Alan it’s a beauty! You’re so right, nature does a fantastic job of making its own beautiful segments and inlays!
All my friends and family are asking me for fountain pens - so I think there may be a resurgence in the good old fashioned way of applying ink to paper
