Well your other half said you did not have any lead in your pencil now you can tell her otherwise
Nice one Peter I guess we won't be getting any pen for a while then !!!
Well done Peter greedy git enjoy them mate
These pencils are now vintage, you can't get them for love or money
Peter
Are there any bushes for these or have they got to be turned between centres? I got a couple and never thought I needed bushes.
That's what I thought. I still need to get a decent 60 degree live centre. The one that came with my jet lathe just has a little point and ring. It's hollow for doing boring. They gave me all the bushes for them, I am selling them at £20 per set
Sorry, there were no bushes, but it would be easy enough to turn some up out of Corian or Aluminium if you really needed them, if you only have a couple it's probably not worthwhile.
Peter
No Bushes mate they are very old stock

They will fit in most free running pens that take a parker refill I first come across them in a transformer kit it could be a pen or pencil but it didnt take off so turners redused them to 1/2 price them half price buy one get one free so I got a few hundred of them and still have a few of the mechanism's then stiles and bates sold them as a regency pen
If you are selling 1 Peter I would be interested. This kit seems to get good comments about the mechanism. I would be interested to see if Taiwan could incorporate it into a Lucida style kit. Thanks to Woody I phoned yesterday about the pencil kits for £1 each. They phoned me back and said they only had 70 left and they made me an offer for the 70 that I couldn't refuse, well it would have been churlish really and I am a sucker for a bargain
