Thanks to Woody I phoned yesterday about the pencil kits for £1 each. They phoned me back and said they only had 70 left and they made me an offer for the 70 that I couldn't refuse, well it would have been churlish really and I am a sucker for a bargain:funny:

It would take more than 70 of those leads to make any difference, maybe I could put them around the outside with a couple of elastic bands to make a splint type device:thinks:

Are there any bushes for these or have they got to be turned between centres? I got a couple and never thought I needed bushes.

They gave me all the bushes for them, I am selling them at £20 per set:thumbs:

Sorry, there were no bushes, but it would be easy enough to turn some up out of Corian or Aluminium if you really needed them, if you only have a couple it's probably not worthwhile.

That's what I thought. I still need to get a decent 60 degree live centre. The one that came with my jet lathe just has a little point and ring. It's hollow for doing boring.
No Bushes mate they are very old stock

I will have a look at all the crap I mean extra stuff I have got and see if there is a live centre, I bet loads of people have 2 or more somewhere, but it's finding them that's the problem.

I have just read that the schmidt mechanism will work in the Cigar kit and some other kits that use the parker refill, I can't find a Cigar kit so I can't try it.

That's interesting, is it just the refill part or do the other bits need to be used as well?

If you are selling 1 Peter I would be interested. This kit seems to get good comments about the mechanism. I would be interested to see if Taiwan could incorporate it into a Lucida style kit.

I am sure I can spare one for you Dan, do you want the kit or just the refill, is 1 enough?
