Hi youngins I've came across a wee bitty problem. Months ago I bought a pen trumpet and have now started to turn the base and have prepared
the blank ready to turn. On closer inspection I've found that a normal slimline nib is too big to fit into the trumpet.:rolling: Is there a special kit for a desktop pen?:thinks:

ps can't remember where i bought the trumpet. Have searched in the archives and the trumpets on there seem to be bigger.

The trumpets that I had only take the slimline but I found sometimes if the pen is not put in correctly the nib catches on a little rim down the bottom

Hi Derek, You might find this useful. In this months Woodturning magazine (July) there is a whole project with plans and sizes to make a desk pen using a Streamline kit.
