Once Fired BMG 50 Caliber Toothpick Holder.
These were fired from B17 Bombers at targets on a winter firing range built on a frozen lake in the late 1940's and early 1950's resulting in no damage to the hardened brass projectiles.
I left the rifling on the projectile and cleaned up the 1942 brass and M2 projectile.
