I always bothered with the distributers reps been given many a drill or sets at Shows etc always get the real info this way bear in mind with such a small requirement any special help from experts along the way is great. From the makers I learned for ever ago the type 2 drills were developed for cutting stainless steel with the land angle and the drill point so I figured what a bonus for me the way they behave in my pen products. Whilst building a huge for me set of structures out front of my house I used steel posts 8 inches/ thick walled pipe that came in 26 feet lengths the idiot deliverer rolled them out in the street in front of next door and abandoned them there. I had to bring them in one at a time made two four wheel trollies one either end of the pipe with independant swinging wheels and did the moving on my own cutting them to length. I used steel U shaped and bolted this framework to the posts I used the clearance for 3/4 inch and drilled and tapped for stainless steel bolts to hold together. Reason for detail was stuck up min the air posts cemented in 3 feet of concrete I found those DeWalt drills invaluable because the drill point ensured an easy entry into the pipe and because I was in my late sixtees at the time I survived the exit grab as well finding this a bonus tottering up high..
