On May the 18th Albion timber in Sheffield had their inaugural open day. It was a fab day with suppliers and clubs attending, including a bar (£3.00 a pint) and wood deals and a raffle.
It was advertised in magazines and social media so I was quite surprised to see how many people would have liked to attend but didn't because they didn't know it was occuring.

My other half is a professional gardener and a member of the professional gardeners guild. They arrange visits to all sorts of places and we went to one in Linconshire on Saturday. It turns out that the hosts neighbour was a woodturner who was totally unaware that the Chestnut Products - first for finishes Woodturning Weekender was at Spalding this year, and now may be attending on the 10th and 11th of August this year.
If you can't attend there are plans to livesteam the event if enough tickets can be sold to cover the cost. If the livestream doesn't go ahead any ticket costs will be refunded.
