Rather than paint the tube like I normally do, I polished the brass tube attached the Pheasant feathers and cast in PR.
The brass shows through the feathers to give the feathers a nice unique gold effect.
Dressed up in a Black Titanium/Titanium Gold Elegant beauty.

Idea in practice a bonus the more I study your turning the more convinced it is the best of, people often ask what is the optimum extension of the nib for me this is it thanks Les. Those kits are superb. The pics remind me of the Olympics GOLD GOLD GOLD.

Les. That is beyond excellent I absolutely love it!:thumbs::thumbs:

My village is in the middle of a number of pheasant rearing farms.................... I think as pen as a swap for some feathers would go down well with the butcher. (Prefer this to option A! ). Can I ask are they neck, crest, breast, feathers?

Thanks for posting :thumbs
