Hi

I need to disassemble a bolt action pen as I had not noticed the lathe was not aligned true and it’s very clear now the blank is in the kit..?

Can this be done without a special tool?

Hi Kevin....if it goes together, it comes apart....best thing to do is get yourself a set of transfer punches of the 'bay' cheap as chips....use a rubber glove to hold the pen and knock the parts apart.....with the bolt actions i always unscrew the bolt handle first.....remove the refill slacken the screw (long thin screwdriver) and then untwist the handle ( i have snapped a couple in haste)

Thank for the link [MENTION=95]Walter[/MENTION] I was going to ask about stripping a click pen but it is covered in your article never had to take one apart before but then I do tend to avoid click pens as a rule
