A bit more experimentation with painting tubes here. The end pens (purple and black/orange) have one tube white and one tube black - they came from the same blank. The middle pen started as a craftpro white blank, and I painted the tube dark blue. I am quite pleased with it, and will definitely try different colours!

You couldn't have done this without the use of the Irn Bru Alan, great stuff it is .. And some quality looking pens my friend .. :thumbs:

Nice looking batch Alan. I think I will have a go at changing colours rs of the tubes.

I think this will be a long-running experiment. Next up will probably be the white blank with a red tube/hole, will probably turn out pinkish.

I am also curious about the more strongly coloured blanks - adding red paint to a primarily blue blank could give some nice purples maybe, or it might not do anything - that's the fun bit!
