Paul in common with timber what you initially start with quickly changes to reveal mystery and hidden beauty,or throw away stuff. The way you show so clearly in this video is just how experimentation is important. At the same time making useful things for everyday use. Exciting to do and see. That’s very nice Paul. You could put a finger nail detail on the white strip & spray it with acrylic lacquer.:thumbs:

Fantastic idea Bill. I think I have just the right water decal for the job.
I will get the piece back on the lathe and try your suggestion.
