I have tried it with varying results.  Occasionally I have got it spot on and the drill cut like a knife through butter, most times I made it worse.  That's more of an indictment of my skill than a criticism of the Proedge.  I solved my twist drill problem by buying a £10 drill sharpener from Lidl - works a treat but only for 118 degree twist bits - no fancy stuff catered for.
