Duotone Wood Fountain Pen

Some of you may have already seen this one elsewhere but thought I’d share it here too.

It’s a fully lined fountain pen made from African Black Wood and Thuya Burr with sterling silver accents. The finials and section are Italian acrylic and the nib is a Bock no 6.

There are 25 components in this one and 22 are made by me (everything excluding nib, coin and converter).

It was fun to make and came out how I imagined it. Perhaps not everybody’s taste but I will make more based on the reaction I received from the ‘grammers.

Observations> Tip and cap splash of ink motif in the top ever so subtle mat,Nib is good fettling and very fine like the use of this type tynes dead even,Mirror finish on the black,tick,beaut banding gives length and substance,Clean and deeep threads,Lovely colours in the timber like Mahogany,Long pen I likeTerrific Banner presentation of the series pictures. In short magnificent mate.

What's not to like on that, the segmenting is extremely well proportioned and contrasts well with the silver lifting it....
Another wee cracker mate! 😍😍
