Dust Extraction

I need a dust extraction system for my lathe I don't want to use a airflow type face mask because of headache problems. What do other members use it will be for airborne dust removal, your answers and thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Essential then to have a fan unit to remove fine dust over the lathe,I use an air con inline fan to atmosphere at the lathe ,just above the lathe headstock.
