Well this can go one of two ways!!
I have bought loads of blanks of the bay never home grown resins! I only buy them from trusted known sources!

But i do buy wood, this guy Dave is a great seller and has some stunning blanks, this is my last purchase and he threw some extras in for postage reasons,

4x Pistachio Woodturning Pen Blanks (beautiful, hugely rare) Extra Long | eBay

Two of these four blanks contain cracks that will need to be filled. If this is done with black resin the result looks very natural and pleasing. The hard and heavy wood is beautiful, varying in colour from orange-brown, greenish buff to dark greenish-grey depending on local climatic and soil...

Like the colour of the pear, and the Cocobolo is first class.
Those timbers are ideal for doing a bit of segmenting!!!

Lots of good wood, great conversation starters too with customers asking if the names are real....knobthorn!! Always gets a giggle
