I was wondering if anyone here has come across a supplier selling kits for making these fancy vapour cigarette things people are using? shops selling them are opening everywhere and there are some fancy ones available but none i don't think that have a piece that has been turned.

I used to make the e-cigar, pipe and started the cigarette for ecigs.com which later became liberro.
Couldn't possibly compete with the Chinese and gave up.
I am not aware of a kit for turners, nor do I think there will be one in the near future.
It's a lot more involved than a tube.
I have covered many batteries with a veneer and pen blanks and engraved some that would be the only part you could work with.

I agree Ray and there are many DIY e-cigs around which may be the way to go.
I have to say I was looking at a business venture rather than a a hobby earning a few bob.
I would say stay away from the commercial market, the chinks have it sewn up as far as manufacture goes.
A bespoke battery slider may be a good idea, not forgetting the switch area which is changeable.

LOL Back and posted up a thread showing some I have made for a recent show.
I have also been making ecig mods for the past 4 years, turned tubes and made custom pipes.
China is well and truly getting a huge grip on the custom item and now mass producing.
There still is a small market for custom items but folk want all the gizmos included VV/VW.
Happy to chat at any time if you want further info.

LOL not any way a bong. Just a big carto tank.
The tips are a hard push as so many doing them now all over the place now.
The whole market has been squeezed from when I 1st started making 5 years ago.
China now mass producing tips.
Think there is prob about 6 months left for the small producer.
I sell prob 5 a week if I push them on FB etc

The show was a diff story as a mass gathering of folk with cash to spend, lol
Shame it's only once a year.

I knew China would get the market that's why I pulled out of it before it skint me.
The company are still trading and doing well but that's importing them and selling the juices which was not my side of it.
I think I still have a boxes of element wire, micro switches, led's, battery packs and so on.

Yeah me to, I was also in from the start in 2008 ish.
Back when there was something to be made.
Now its just small one off's and everyone wants more power.
I've backed away for the making to sell of the mods and now sort of instruct with a show I do for VTTV.
The tips are a hobby.
The metal inserts are like rocking horse poo and everyone wants them as some liquid damages a tip to the point of snapping.
