The ebonite zulutiming so kindly gifted me has finally taken on it's flesh - well, burr elm to be exact. Customer messed me around for weeks then wanted me to drop everything and get it done before she went away for Festivus - two long days in the workshop later here it is:

The pen failed it's waterproofing test but she wanted to take it anyway - it'll come back to me in January for a bit more work ...
