Hi all,

Another submission to POTW. I am not overly happy with this one but saying that, not very disappointed.
The shape looks different to me now off the lathe. Unfortunately, I had to remove a lot of plastic from the cap
which I didn't want to do. But not too bad on the whole.

I agree. I think this one will be resigned to the rubbish box or used for spares. The cap is ok I think so will keep that.

Hi all

I have decided to strip this pen. I have already turned the bottom half to brass and found another piece of burr. Hopefully this time it will look better.
I am just grateful that it came apart OK without any damage.

Unfortunately it's all part of the learning process.... sometimes were our own worst critic's but if we learn from these setbacks we become better for it.......
After all we have all been there, thanks for sharing

This is the end result. This pen has been a right little monkey. Hopefully this one is acceptable then on to making
some more out of the new blanks i've made.
