I have always been a bit sceptical about the Axminster pen kits, a rather obscure range from, it would appear, every manufacturer under the sun. Berea Sierras have always been top quality, and along with that top price as well and the Timberbits variety have been very consistent and reliable. Howver, I bought one of these kits from Axminster the other day , was very pleased with it and bought 12 and a pack of their acrylic mesh blanks which I think look fantastic, but then I was never very fashinable according to the wife so I could well be wrong there as well.
