I don't see brass tube so much, as I see the glue. I would have painted the hole and tube white, and colored the epoxy. Still, it's a nice looking pen.

I'm going to play devils advocate, as I only ever paint my tubes:devil::wink: It does still look like a good pen though. I like these kits. They fit pretty much any hand. :thumbs:

A nice looking pen Angelo :thumbs: cant see any copper tube from here :thumbs:

I always paint the tubes now when doing acrylics, just in case :thinks:

Angelo, you'll get away with that minimal amount of brass as you've used gold fittings. Be different had they been chrome or gunmetal. Well done!

Good advice, I'll do this on the next one

I recently started painting all my tubes for acrylic blanks. I've been using spray paint for the tubes and the holes. I've found that the spray enamel paint dries faster than the bottled acrylic paint I was using for the holes. Painting the tubes has made a big difference.

Hi Angelo I haven't made up one of those kits in years last time I made one was on an 8mm mandrel
