I don't know what possessed me to make a funny shaped pen, I had my chisel in hand and it had its own mind. A piece of pear that was cut down in 2009, in the load I had today. The other is a Wych Elm for a colleague who wanted a straight forward slimline because he's got girlie hands... Ahhhhh!

The first one is different, that's for sure, it reminds me of Peter Penpal's pens. Does it feel good to write with?

The Wych Elm is lovely.

Funny enough it does sit in the hand quite well, the thumb and finger sit in the troughs nicely.

Nothing so satisfying as turning when you are in the mood for trying different designs brought about by dodging features or deformation in the timber or just plain fun I understood immediately I often succumb.

Like them both Paul with a lot to be said about pen sizes for different people they really appreciate it IMHO.

Kind regards Peter.

Well Paul I was a bit wobbly when I looked at this last night and came back to apologise for the comment I left.
It has either been deleted or I never pressed the post pad properly.
I have nothing to apologise for, never mind, next time aye???
