Did a bit of proper turning today. A lovely bit of elm, with a plug of mahogany to break up the top a bit. 2 coats of danish oil to finish off

Nice shape and finish, For me the mahogany could have been a little bigger to show up a little more and shout out I'm here so to speak...

Still a great shape and finish tho..

Great shaped and finished box.

The lines on the lid seem a bit heavy, but that is just me and I agree with Silver about the contrast of the mahogany:whistling::whistling::whistling: OK I,ll get my coat
