Evening all.
I made myself another pen. I already had 4 but nobody likes an even number so I made a fifth. I do have lots of pens that I adopted because they didn’t quite make the grade, but only 4 (now 5) of them were made with me in mind.
It’s called spaghetti resin because it’s made from lots of long thin segments of resin glued together. It’s also a vintage material (not sure exactly how old) so it can be challenging to turn, with splitting being the biggest issue. However this one passed without incident.
One other thing to mention is that it comes in 16mm diameter rods so this is a fraction slimmer than my usual size but it still passes the tolerance test. (I just made that up. There is no such test).
13mm cap threads and a Jowo no6 flex nib (check out the fancy cutaways to reduce the rigidity of the steel).
All metal is sterling apart from the clip which is chrome plated steel from Beaufort Ink.
Cheers
