Emerging yew vase.

Something a little rustic & very different for me an emerging vase from Yew branch wood, finished with acrylic lacquer it was supposed to be my entry for this months club competition but unfortunately a kidney stone blocking my bladder had other ideas about letting me get to the club meeting.

I sympathise with your bladder stone, I had the same, kidney stone a month or so ago, not very nice. That's a bloody nice bit of turning on the Yew wood, very classic and modern in the same vase. Brill Doug!!

That looks really good Doug, I like the natural look at the bottom. I’ve got a yew log in the wood pile I’ll pinch your idea if I may mate. Dear old woody advised me to use a spray lacquer from Halfords, is that the sort of thing you’ve used here.
