Strange one, my friend wanted a rollerball, and was insistant that it should be English Oak, grown in England, which was no problem, he's a proud Englishman, but then he wanted a Celtic Cross added, so maybe having to endure watching the last 6 Nations game in Cardiff with me left a lasting impression!!!!

Anyway, Oak, with a cross from an unknown dark hardwood, metal accent is a strongbow can and it's a Jr. Gent with a friction polish finish.

Like it ! Lots !

The metal accent on only the one side is a nice touch, usually people do both sides.

Good contrast in timbers and nicely finished.

Thank you all so much for your comments they really are appreciated!

If you haven't had a go at a celtic cross yet, just do it (could work as s slogan that) it really is very satisfying, and if I can do it with an Evolution sliding mitre saw, anyone can!

Strongbow (red berry, very nice) was chosen due to it's influence on the formative years of our friendship:tongue:
