I received a sample from Dan amongst my Zeta order

first thing I noticed was that it is quite weighty...in a really good way..no plastic here ( until I added it :ave_it:)

I should have taken some pics of components and can only apologise for my mistake

The tube measured 8.5mm OD so I grabbed an 8.7mm drillbit ( I guess this converts to imperial)
tube length is 65mm
my vernier is not greatest ...the nib end is about 11mm the cap end is about 12.5mm
there are quite a few components to this kit ...i know no pics :goesred:
Tube \Cap \Cap Ring\Mech \Clip \Cap insert \Nib \ Nib insert\ spring \ refil

it all assembled ok apart from a minor issue
I could not seat the cap ring fully...please note this is a sample only, so a very minor issue imho
on completion of assembly I was pleased with result

this kit has the smoothest mechanism of all pens I have made
plating seems ok , but again as this is only sample so not worth "judging"

Steve

no bushes used and turned between makeshift wooden centre ( i couldnt find my dead anywhere :nooidea:)

Thank you Steve
your welcome Dan

thankyou for opportunity to try something new

forgot to say
would I buy it ? yes without a doubt
the fact there a several components is a bonus if you wanted to mix and match between gold and chrome to give "accents"

I like the idea because I like the the Executive but I would stress the points that Neil makes in his review in particular that the clip is too long and the body in my mind too short - maybe one fix would fix the other, I wouldn't buy it Dan in its current configuration but I'd happily jump in if it looked a little more like the Exec. Just my two penneth
