Lovely pen Eamonn great piece of wood.....I had some of those cases but stopped buying them as they had 'Made in China' embossed on the back ..didn't want customers thinking that it referred to the pens.

Eucalyptus.... There are over 700 known Eucalyptus varieties so a safe bet is just label it Eucalyptus because within the numbers are huge variations in colour texture, burl etc a common way in Tasmania is to broad label the timber especially in blank form, as is the Custom to label any tree in the Area of the WA Goldfields burl timber as Goldfields Burl about as broad as it is long. I have so many unnamed blanks looking forward to calling them Euc or Goldfields whats in a name?

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:
