Had a couple of blanks i bought that had no real grain but felt i needed to find a use for them so had a tinker .

Thanks for the nice comments . I had another pen on the mandrel but had not applied a finish so i finished that today . Im not saying the ideas are mine for any pens i make . Im late to the party and im sure some of the vet turners have tried most of the things i make now and will make in the future . But its always nice to try new things .

Any picture of both the pens together . I have done the coke can inlay before but i was tired and in a rush so the quality was not great so hence why there was no picture on here of the last one .

I do really need to make a light tent for taking pictures as its so hard to get decent light indoors
