I keep moving a pile of woodturning tools around the workshop these are my least used ones so thought it about time I built an extra rack to put them up on the wall, now I have no more wall space left. I also have another cupboard where the door is holding yet more tools which idealy I would like to have in a rack but that is for another day.

Here are the racks with the extra one in place and how quick I can fill them. I have already found another tool to fill the last gap

he expression in Billiards rackem up seems appropriate Derek even after giving away and selling large numbers of tools I still can match or exceed your numbers. Smooth talking salesman over the thirty or forty years who won the argument.

Like your idea where they are all on show for quick access.

Peter.

If you mean the ones with funny shaped heads they are scrapers one is ideal for the bottom of boxes and the other which has a round head is used for small pieces where the bottom is rounded

I need to build a new rack but I don’t have wall or floor space to spare so I’m going to have to get creative somehow. The best I’ve seen so far is a rotating dolly with tools stored downwards in tubes. The bottom of the tubes are cut off at an angle so you can see what tool it holds.
