Over here fire stained in Eucalypt is common in one thunderstorm recently in Sydney there were hundreds of cloud to earth full strikes in half an hour, Eucalypts especially adapt following a fire but it affects the timber.

THeres gold in your hills mate left its mark also in that beaut colour along with the spalting. Neat Pen.
