I've physically not been able to work in my workshop for what feels like forever, actually only about 3 weeks (covid done a one on me over 2.5 years ago and left me with a number of long term issues), so it was great being back this weekend.
Like many playing about in the workshop is therapy for me and I've really missed it. Concentration is one of my problems so the small stages of making pens is perfect for me, I can really enjoy the process of creating a pen.
This is what I managed yesterday a slightly modified Leveche (i'm not keen on the screw on cap posts) and a Tempest.

Great to see your back in the shop and two terrific pens. The term for a screw on cap is 'Postable' and I like the stopped end turning you have done. I have a pin chuck I use to do mine, I like doing the odd one for variety(and building spares)
Very nice blanks too... Well done

Well done, both are looking good.

As for the postable cap, it’s personal preference “marmite” thing.

Well done for persevering with your conditions and pushing them to one side, worthy result that you should be happy with.

Lovely work…although just for contrast I’m the exact opposite and prefer a postable cap!
As @silver says it’s a marmite thing!

I don't mind a postable cap that slides on, i just don't like the screw finials to screw post a cap, agree its just a marmite thing not anything to worry about.
