Hi guys hope everyone keeping well.

Below is 4 pens I made revently they were the first pens I've ever turned.

1 walnut
1 oak
1 beech
1 yew

Really happy with them just need to finalise my own style from straight flush designs to the bolder design such as these.

All criticism welcome :)

Finished with my own blend of mineral oil and Donegal local beeswax.

Very nice job, well done. I prefer the slender design, with maybe a slight flair, but that's personal preference as others love the larger grip....
Always keep your first pen, in years to come you'll be able to see your progress or at least justify the expense!! :claps: :claps:

Great looking pens and a lovely looking matt finish on them. I love the local touch with the beeswax finish! Superb šŸ˜€šŸ‘
Thanks mate, yh I feel the route I want to go is using locally sourced timber and recycled that's my personal preference as I feel enough materials in the world have been already taken. One pen I want to make for myself is my mother's home house has some land around it with some lovely old Irish oak I plan on visiting the next month or so as some big developer purchased the house and land and has plans to demolish and rebuild so I'm planning on removing some materials from there and making some items sentimental value.

Well done with making a start down this pen making obsession.

I also prefer the nib end to be a reflection of the clip end.

Try the Streamlines some time as well. You have a bit more timber to play with.
