Well, after about 5 weeks without even picking up a chisel :goesred: I finally got back on the lathe today! And in the absence of any pen kits (not a priority according to my other half :nonono:) I tried making a lidded box. I know it's a bit plain but I'm a little rusty to say the least! It's made from Sycamore with a Sapele lid and finished with Chestnuts Wood Wax 22.

Found the hardest bit getting a good fit on the lid  but got there in the end! Hope you like it
