First attempt with polymer

Did this over the weekend but only just got round to taking a photo.
Polymer clay with nail art millefiori canes.
The top part of the pen was baked to hot as the web site said 150c, after using my new reading glasses and a magnifying glass to read the super small print on the packet I found it should be no hotter than 130c so the bottom part I did at 120c in a fan oven.
One point the clay shrinks slightly so don`t trim right to the end of the tube before baking.

Nice one Ray it looks good. I haven done 5 this afternoon and I am well pleased with them. I will post some photos when I've worked out how to use the camera, download onto the computer, resize and link to the site. Some time next year I should imagine.

I am starting to get hooked on the Polymer Clay and attempting to make my own canes this week

They sure don`t. Think I still prefer wood but they will give people more choice coming up to xmas.

I'm in agreement with you Ray give me wood to work with any-day mind you they do turn very easy mine are for Christmas gifts got to make another 6
