Wow you have done a great job.

Personally I think you have been a little unlucky on the breakaway.
I never go down the repair route as I think it takes yet another skill set to make an invisible mend, I keep all of my busted ones as a reminder of where I went wrong and also to compare.

Even the best have things go wrong and it will only be a matter of time before I attempt repairing,

I actually think you can do it mate so my vote is for you to go for it :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

For a true Celtic knot you need to do two cuts on two planes hope this helps

thanks for the vote of confidence mate, ill shelve it and ponder it a while...maybe a contrasting colour at each end....:thinks:

I had a go and fail this week on a celtic knot. Mine was using too thick a kerf and misalignment.... Its not easy:rant:

well, if the master can get it wrong, then there is hope for me...going to try again tomorrow with aluminium....easier to drill and cut
