First Civil War pen

This is my first Civil War pen. It's obviously a short fat pen. The cap replicates a Civil War era Minie Ball bullet, and the clip is an 1861 Springfield musket. The wood is supposedly genuine lignum vitae, finished with Watco Danish oil. I didn't like the pen at first, but it's growing on me.

The kit for me is an acquired taste but you've made a smashing job of making it up Jim :thumbs:

Another quality turned pen Jim, the wood is much darker than my Lignum, but your choice is top class again .. :winking:
