First closed end slimline

Well, I had to have a go with the new closed end mandrel I bought this week. First try at a closed end slimline in Laburnum. It's real easy to do I have to say, the mandrel makes it simple.

That looks good, hope you keep making more, I didn't realise you could buy the mandrels, how much was it and where did you get it?

How about a one piece slimline closed end pen, they are always fun.

Nice pen there Ray, an excellent first attempt. I bought one of those mandrels but don't get on with it very well, I also got a pin mandrel which is easier.
