Like Keith and Bill, I'm not keen on the shape, but it is a very well turned and finished pen for a first attempt :thumbs:

You have done a brilliant job there Dan. Bit of a difference from the slimline which I think is the usual first attempt pen. Very nice blank you have used.

Dan you dived in the deep end mate mate and chose a difficult timber an unusual design entirely yours made a beaut pen defied the critics of new pen makers produced good pictures and presented them clearly. Welcome and congratulations.

Its a journey Dan. Your first pen is looking great. Lots of people keep their first one, so they can compare it to where the journey takes them. Keep it up and good luck with the second too.
