Well this is the first thing completed for 2015. I confess in as much that it was started some time ago and put on hold while I made Christmas presents and the like.
Turned from tulip wood and glued to give me the thickness of material needed. It has 4 separate pieces for the main part. I painted it with artist acrylic paints. The letters on the front are cut from 1/16" ply and when stuck on sanded to make them even thinner they stand 1/2" tall and a little fiddly to make.
It stand 8" tall and 3 1/2" at the widest point

Thank you guys.

It is a close copy of one that Ian Wilkie made for a magazine article. I did change a few bits to suit myself. And it was something that I had started last year along with a few other projects which I hopefully will get finished.

Derek I admit to not taking enough notice of one before to rate an opinion on this but I like the way you followed through with the project magazine articles sure give that needed push to get us going well done mate.
